True Love Sets Dante on the Right Path
The crystallization of the epic of desire is found most poignantly in Dante’s Divine Comedy. Love permeates every sentence of Dante’s great Christian epic. It is Dante’s lack of properly ordered love that has led him astray from the straight and true. And it takes the love of Virgil, Beatrice, St. Bernard of Clairvaux, and, of course, the love of God, to reorder Dante to the straight and true that results in ultimate felicity.

Dante’s construction of hell is founded on disordered love (levels two through five) and the rejection of love and truth (inside the walls of the city of Dis). After leaving Limbo to begin his journey down to the frozen and cold—loveless—abyss of Satan’s domain, the first levels of hell that Dante treads are places where its human inhabitants expressed a disordered love, a love aimed at carnal and ephemeral things that could not provide the loving happiness that humans seek.

Modernity Fears Love -Modernity speaks incessantly with the language of “love” but most moderns do not know love. The sad reality is that we are afraid of love. We do not want the consequences of love, namely regret and the possibility of feeling broken. And unlike the ancient poets, or Christianity, the love of modernity is directed only to the self rather than to the family—the founding cornerstone of love.

Love’s Reinterpretation of the Sacred Scriptures And The New Catholic Bibles

New Rite Catholics have been hoodwinked into being part of a movement to slowly change their religion and their beliefs in every underlining aspect of it.

Scripture scholars abhor the protestantized Catholic bible known as the NAB – New American Bible- even new Rite , Catholic bible teachers do not use it and prefer the Revised Standard Version ( itself a compromise ) with the best known bible being the modern english translation of the Douay Rheims Bible known as the Confraternity Edition

The NAB bible is used in the new Conciliar Mass and it,  ‘specifically the new bible’ , has been (for a growing subset of people that have  reverted to the traditional rite and have studied scripture in class) one of the main reasons that they have left the N.O. for the traditional Rite which uses exclusively the original Jerome vulgate . Both this version, used in the 1962 Missal and all Missals prior, and the Confraternity edition of the Douay Rheims Bible shows clearly the glaring discrepancies of many protestanized Scriptures versions and its systematic attempts at an ecumenical utopia that draw even the novice to the conclusion that these are not a few ‘translation issues’, but systematic

It then goes past even protestantism , above and beyond the new rite catholic movement towards evangelical lutheranism, in attempting to adapt the Catholic Church to the modern world by taking the interpretations of God is Love and Love the center of all things and bring into a different court all together – interiorizing love into a panentheistic creed with an immanentism sense

In order to do this they begin with their re-interpretations of Scriptures such as this

Philippians 2:5-8  (DRB Version given)

5For let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men, and in habit found as a man. 8He humbled himself, becoming obedient unto death, even to the death of the cross.

The progressivists overemphasize this passage with three principals aims 1) To say that the Incarnation of Christ was voluntary and caused by this same new type of love , rather than by need to redeem people from original sin. 2. To absolve the Jews from crime of deicide – suppressing  any need for Jewish conversion and abolishing Catholic doctrine that the Jewish covenant was abrogated to the new Israel of the Catholic Church 3. And thirdly or finally to adopt the mission and alternative new  catholic creed (small ‘c’) that the majority of the current prelates have adopted,which is to advocate that the Catholic Church should slowly destroy herself in order to be a perfect follower of Christ… in this new type of love

St. Saturninus, saint of November 29 Comments of Prof. Plinio:

In this text one has a magnificent picture of the fight of good against evil. St. Saturninus was a saint whose virtue and presence in Toulouse caused the demons who inhabitated the idols to become mute. For before a man of God, the devil is a coward who flees. Therefore, the idols could not say anything to their followers. From this situation came the martyrdom of St. Saturninus.

We could ask:

• Why don’t the devils become mute today in the presence of good persons?

• Why do things like this no longer happen? I will try to give answers to these questions.

First, even if we are not saints, sometimes when we write something in defense of the Catholic Church or Christian Civilization, the enemies become mute, unable to make a response. This is a fact that presents itself as merely natural, and not supernatural or preternatural. But according to a sound Catholic principle, in every natural action there is always an Angel and a devil that follow it and encourage man either to good or evil. When we make a good defense of the Catholic cause, certainly there are devils who become mute and can no longer help the enemies. In a certain way, therefore, something similar to what happened to the demons in the presence of St. Saturninus also takes place in our fight.

Second, obvious supernatural facts like what happened with St. Saturninus do not take place today because, on one hand, God has distanced Himself from this earth. He does not give such miracles to this revolutionary world, because it is not worthy of such things.

Someone could object: But if He would work miracles like that, then the world would change.

I don’t think so. You can observe the statues of Our Lady that have wept in various places. Notwithstanding, nothing changed. People ordered chemical examinations of her tears. The lab results concluded that the tears were actually human tears – that is to say, a manifest miracle. Still, practically no one changes his life. People have reached a degree of insensibility to the supernatural that almost nothing can change them.

You can note the silence that has fallen over Lourdes. We could almost say that Lourdes hardly exists anymore. Why? Because people today scorn miracles and thus are no longer worthy of them.

This is the reason why for some time Our Lady has wept. Doing this, she nourishes the piety of the good Catholics. She also leaves evidence that she forewarned mankind of the catastrophe that is near.

On the other hand, the devils have today a dominion over the world that they did not have at the time of St. Saturninus. In our days we are facing not only the devils of the air, but also and principally the devils of Hell. Perhaps you remember that Pope Leo XIII had a vision warning him that the devils of Hell would shortly be released on earth. Well, I think that they were set at large and are present everywhere intensifying the action of the devils of the air and making men much worse. This is another reason why the magnificent facts of the life of St. Saturninus are not repeated today.

We should ask Our Lady through the intercession of St. Saturninus to shorten these sad and terrible times and permit the good to once again be visibly triumphant over the devils for the greater glory of God.
