We believe that there are somewhat mistaken notions as to the sources of our research concerning Benedict XVI not from any second hand sources, nor from the media , nor from the current Vatican but from the writings and addresses of Benedict XVI himself
Due to misunderstandings of same in comments from a reader we post the following substantiations
The Vatican II progressivist morality began attacking original sin very early on in disclaiming Adam and Eve and the inherited sin of fallen creation as mythology It led to the personal interpretation of each individual as to what sin is for them according to their interpretation of Scripture As we know from 2 Peter 1:20 there is no personal interpretation of Scripture. It has been substantiated by more than several traditional Catholic theologians and historians that Benedict XVI is from the same school of thought as Francis I
Francis I to date has only encouraged the every day practice or applications of Catholicism (suing their terminology ) He has not changed dogmatic theology or canon law in any substantial way (other than the death penalty ) Benedict XVI on the other hand as Fr. Ratzinger as, Cdl. Ratzinger and Pope has official documents and addresses that attack Catholic dogma
Here are a few of many examples quoting his writings that have never been retracted by Pope Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger / Benedict XVI in any way
“ Already in the Chapter of Genesis which deals with Adam’s fall new questions emerge . How can one bring this into harmony with the knowledge as natural science demonstrates – that man starts not from above , but from below ; he does not fall but gradually ascends, having now accomplished the metamorphism from animal to human being ? What about paradise ? Long before man existed , suffering and death were in the world “ J. Ratzinger Fe’ e Futuro page #11
These and other teachings of his are taken from his colleagues Pierre Tielhard de Chardin , Henry de Luba, Karl Rahner, Hans Kung and Hans Von Balthazar and are the basis of Francis I applications and the basis of the Fathers of conciliar Catholic thought and practice
Here in that same book of his , Ratzinger doubts the creation of man and woman “ Let us look at the general picture and see where the critical points are to be found…thus the problems continue, page by page in the Bible . It is in great part inaccessible to us ; there is the figure of clay in the hands of God becomes man, as well as , soon after it, the formation of the woman taken from the side of the sleeping man and who is recognized by him as the flesh of his flesh , that is , as an answer to his solitude .” Quite unbelievable J. Ratzinger Fe’ e Futuro page #12
Fe & Futuro (Spanish Edition): Joseph Ratzinger: 9788433021441: Amazon.com: Gateway
Hans Kung ( A Igreja) then quotes Ratzinger at length in his writings to all the Council Fathers as the Rhine continues to flood the Tiber . “The six days of Creation and the narrative of creation of man are , as we are all aware of today, images that do not describe the scientific course of the evolution of the creation of the world, but proclaim, and still proclaim to today’s man, the glory of the sovereignty of the creator. “
Basically they still believe in an intelligent creator even though they do not believe in the creation narrative, the fall of creation , and many other particulars unique to Catholic dogmaIn case one believes these teachings of Benedict XVI were just one-offs in some old book he wrote and spoke as follows proclaiming that original sin was basically a construct architected to teach but is not real . This is the core progressivism
He says the evil is on the earth , not in original sin he denies the narrative of Adam’s sin as an historical fact
These heresies are located here so that you can read it for yourself from his December 2008 General Audience, spoken and in writing
“”Evil does not come from the source of being itself , it is not equally original . Evil only comes from a freedom creation from a freedom abused ” How is it possible how did it happen ? This remains obscure , Evil is not logical . Only God and good are logical Evil is not logical . Evil remains mysterious . it is presented as such in great images , as it is in chapter 3 of Genesis , with that scene of the two trees , of the serpent and the sinful man, a great image that makes us guess but cannot explain what is itself illogical We may guess but not explain it as fact nor may we recount it as one fact beside another, because it is a deeper reality. It remains only a mystery of darkness and light”
In General Audience in February 2013 he returns to his thesis that is the foundation of the modernist -progressivist Catholicism of a symbolic Genesis and the relativism of sin
“ However our question today is “ In the age of science and technology does it still even make sense to speak of creation? How should we understand the narratives of Genesis ? The Bible does not intend to be a natural science manual ; rather it wishes to make the authentic and profound truth of things understood. The fundamental truth that the accounts of Genesis reveal to us is that the world is not a collection of forces that clash with each other; it has its origins and its permanence in the Logos, in god’s eternal Reason, which continues to sustain the universe “
“Then the serpent is a symbol that comes from the Eastern fertility cults that fascinated Israel and were a constant temptation to abandon the mysterious covenant with god “
These are just a few examples – There are dozens and dozens of others coming directly from Benedict In Benedict XVI’s Angelus Address of March 13th 2011 which can easily be brought up he brings up the same errors
He is their philosopher , the foundation was built they merely needed a St Gallen implementer of the new religion We see these new ideologies is the way for the progressivism school of prelates , represented by Benedict XVI to try to absolve not only non- Catholics and non-Christians nut atheists as well. Those who do not believe in God as well ass those who adhere to other errors. According to their progressivist concept of evil , for each type of belief or disbelief a different notion of sin applies and is relative to each person . In other words , evil itself – they teach – is relative , depending on the more or less clear notion that one has of the goodness of God . In brief , evil is subjective and to this , the new Catholicism and the conciliar Popes stand united
This is obviously wrong Catholic doctrine affirms the correctly applied metaphor regaarding original sin: After the objective sin of Adam , the world became the kingdom of darkness, and the dominion of the Devil. For this it was necessary for our Lord to come to redeem mankind . Again this doctrine is quite clear . Confusion only enters when it is denied
There is much more on how Pope Francis I builds on the teachings of Benedict XVI and quotes him extensively is seen in multiple places for example in Francis homily in St Peter’s Square on December 8th 2015

The name “Andrew” (Gr., andreia, manhood, or valour), like other Greek names, appears to have been common among the Jews from the second or third century B.C. St. Andrew, the Apostle, son of Jonah, or John (Matt., xvi, 17; John, i, 42), was born in Bethsaida of Galilee (John, i, 44). He was brother of Simon Peter (Matt., x, 2; John, i, 40). Both were fishermen (Matt., iv, 18; Mark, i, 16), and at the beginning of Our Lord’s public life occupied the same house at Capharnaum (Mark, i, 21, 29).
Unlike Moderns, Our Ancestors Understood Love – On Crisis Magazine
True Love Sets Dante on the Right Path The crystallization of the epic of desire is found most poignantly in Dante’s Divine Comedy. Love permeates every sentence of Dante’s great Christian epic. It is Dante’s lack of properly ordered love that has led him astray from the straight and true. And it takes the love of Virgil, Beatrice, St. Bernard of Clairvaux, and, of course, the love of God, to reorder Dante to the straight and true that results in ultimate felicity.
Dante’s construction of hell is founded on disordered love (levels two through five) and the rejection of love and truth (inside the walls of the city of Dis). After leaving Limbo to begin his journey down to the frozen and cold—loveless—abyss of Satan’s domain, the first levels of hell that Dante treads are places where its human inhabitants expressed a disordered love, a love aimed at carnal and ephemeral things that could not provide the loving happiness that humans seek.
Sound familiar against today’s backdrop ?
Modernity Fears Love -Modernity speaks incessantly with the language of “love” but most moderns do not know love. The sad reality is that we are afraid of love. We do not want the consequences of love, namely regret and the possibility of feeling broken. And unlike the ancient poets, or Christianity, the love of modernity is directed only to the self rather than to the family—the founding cornerstone of love.
Love’s Reinterpretation of the Sacred Scriptures And The New Catholic Bibles
New Rite Catholics have been hoodwinked into being part of a movement to slowly change their religion and their beliefs in every underlining aspect of it.
Scripture scholars abhor the protestantized Catholic bible known as the NAB – New American Bible- even new Rite , Catholic bible teachers do not use it and prefer the Revised Standard Version ( itself a compromise ) with the best known bible being the modern english translation of the Douay Rheims Bible known as the Confraternity Edition
The NAB bible is used in the new Conciliar Mass and it, ‘specifically the new bible’ , has been (for a growing subset of people that have reverted to the traditional rite and have studied scripture in class) one of the main reasons that they have left the N.O. for the traditional Rite which uses exclusively the original Jerome vulgate . Both this version, used in the 1962 Missal and all Missals prior, and the Confraternity edition of the Douay Rheims Bible shows clearly the glaring discrepancies of many protestanized Scriptures versions and its systematic attempts at an ecumenical utopia that draw even the novice to the conclusion that these are not a few ‘translation issues’, but systematic
However ! it does not stop there – The conciliar Church’s theologians have formulated many exegetical works and guides over the years (interpretations of Scripture) some of which are used for formulating sermons …many of which are at odds , not only with the exegetical works of the likes of the Doctors like Saint Thomas Aquinas but, with the early Church Fathers as well ( For those interested in serious study and proof texts see the Patrology Series of text books by Johannes Quasten with transcriptions from original paprus scrolls ) https://www.amazon.com/Patrology-4-Set-Johannes-Quasten/dp/0870611410
It then goes past even protestantism , above and beyond the new rite catholic movement towards evangelical lutheranism, in attempting to adapt the Catholic Church to the modern world by taking the interpretations of God is Love and Love the center of all things and bring into a different court all together – interiorizing love into a panentheistic creed with an immanentism sense
In order to do this they begin with their re-interpretations of Scriptures such as this
Philippians 2:5-8 (DRB Version given)
5For let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men, and in habit found as a man. 8He humbled himself, becoming obedient unto death, even to the death of the cross.
The progressivists overemphasize this passage with three principals aims 1) To say that the Incarnation of Christ was voluntary and caused by this same new type of love , rather than by need to redeem people from original sin. 2. To absolve the Jews from crime of deicide – suppressing any need for Jewish conversion and abolishing Catholic doctrine that the Jewish covenant was abrogated to the new Israel of the Catholic Church 3. And thirdly or finally to adopt the mission and alternative new catholic creed (small ‘c’) that the majority of the current prelates have adopted, which is to advocate that the Catholic Church should slowly destroy herself in order to be a perfect follower of Christ… in this new type of love

St. Saturninus, saint of November 29 Comments of Prof. Plinio:
In this text one has a magnificent picture of the fight of good against evil. St. Saturninus was a saint whose virtue and presence in Toulouse caused the demons who inhabitated the idols to become mute. For before a man of God, the devil is a coward who flees. Therefore, the idols could not say anything to their followers. From this situation came the martyrdom of St. Saturninus.
We could ask:
Why don’t the devils become mute today in the presence of good persons?
Why do things like this no longer happen? I will try to give answers to these questions.
The pilgrim statue of Our Lady of Fatima wept in New Orleans in 1972.
First, even if we are not saints, sometimes when we write something in defense of the Catholic Church or Christian Civilization, the enemies become mute, unable to make a response. This is a fact that presents itself as merely natural, and not supernatural or preternatural. But according to a sound Catholic principle, in every natural action there is always an Angel and a devil that follow it and encourage man either to good or evil. When we make a good defense of the Catholic cause, certainly there are devils who become mute and can no longer help the enemies. In a certain way, therefore, something similar to what happened to the demons in the presence of St. Saturninus also takes place in our fight.
Second, obvious supernatural facts like what happened with St. Saturninus do not take place today because, on one hand, God has distanced Himself from this earth. He does not give such miracles to this revolutionary world, because it is not worthy of such things.
Someone could object: But if He would work miracles like that, then the world would change.
I don’t think so. You can observe the statues of Our Lady that have wept in various places. Notwithstanding, nothing changed. People ordered chemical examinations of her tears. The lab results concluded that the tears were actually human tears – that is to say, a manifest miracle. Still, practically no one changes his life. People have reached a degree of insensibility to the supernatural that almost nothing can change them.
You can note the silence that has fallen over Lourdes. We could almost say that Lourdes hardly exists anymore. Why? Because people today scorn miracles and thus are no longer worthy of them.
This is the reason why for some time Our Lady has wept. Doing this, she nourishes the piety of the good Catholics. She also leaves evidence that she forewarned mankind of the catastrophe that is near.
On the other hand, the devils have today a dominion over the world that they did not have at the time of St. Saturninus. In our days we are facing not only the devils of the air, but also and principally the devils of Hell. Perhaps you remember that Pope Leo XIII had a vision warning him that the devils of Hell would shortly be released on earth. Well, I think that they were set at large and are present everywhere intensifying the action of the devils of the air and making men much worse. This is another reason why the magnificent facts of the life of St. Saturninus are not repeated today.
We should ask Our Lady through the intercession of St. Saturninus to shorten these sad and terrible times and permit the good to once again be visibly triumphant over the devils for the greater glory of God.
On The Conciliar Church Boris Pasternak quoting Doctor Zhivago
Reform or Revolution ?
“That’s a very naïve statement’, said Pogorevhikh, ‘What you call disorder is just as normal a state of things as the order you are so keen on. All this destruction – it’s the right and proper preliminary stage of a wide construction plan. Society has not yet disintegrated sufficiently. It must fall to pieces completely, then a genuine revolutionary government will put the pieces together on a completely new basis. Yury felt sick. He went out into the corridor”

Historical Sites Brooklyn Masonic Temple
Fort Greene is home to several architectural masterpieces, the most famous among these being the Brooklyn Masonic Temple. Built in 1909, this Masonic granite temple is regarded as one of the most beautiful structures in the United States and features an impressive brick, marble and terra cotta exterior. According to The New York Times, the original intent of this structure was to be a meeting place for the Masons of Brooklyn (hence the name). In 1977, it was then sold to a “clandestine” Mason group. This group couldn’t afford the daunting cost of upkeep, so they rented out the space on a regular basis. The building now serves as a concert venue, “Masonic Boom,” and is part of the Fort Greene Historic District, which includes the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) and Fort Greene Park (more on the park’s history to come). Right next to it is another architectural masterpiece, the Queen of All Saints Church, built in the gothic revival style from 1910 to 1913. Address: 317 Clermont Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11205

A Round Up On The Traditional Teachings Of The Roman Catholic Church On Contraception And Marriage vs. Conciliar Catholicism – as the Vatican begins to self destructively attack itself
____________________________________________
Brought to light in Professor Roberto De Mattei’s 2010 book – “ The 2nd Vatican Council – An Unwritten Story’ in my pdf linked excerpt from his book is discussed and summarized in the following
The relationship of all this to evolution how the unproven theory of biological evolution becomes for the neo-Catholic world applied to ‘doctrinal evolution’ and the theories of Tiehard de Chardin
A new version of the Christian family that goes beyond the traditional Catholic teachings on marriage found in the established doctrine of Arcanum (Leo XIII) and Casti Connubii (Pius IX) and The Teaching Of The Church To Married Couples by Pius XII from 1939 to 1943 ( a treasure of Catholic doctrine )
A reordering of the ends of matrimony in direct contrast to these eternal magisterium’s teachings over centuries to create a new version of marriage whereby in the new Catholicism the unitive /conjugal love becomes equal (after tombs of pseudo- quasi-philosophy-new-speak) to that of the primary nature of marriage (the latin word for motherhood) ordered to ‘procreation’ and in the post-conciliar era to the unitive /conjugal element’s elevation above all else.
The attempted new definition of the ‘ends of marriage’ was then hammered in by various Council Fathers on a new concept of morality by egalitarianism and democracy was partially expounded by the Patriarch Maximos IV Saigh also speaking to the at Vatican II
Does not this state of mind of today’s society perhaps demand a revision of the presentation of the teaching or morality.? The current teaching is excessively marked by the legalism of a bygone era and thoroughly imbued with Roman law. Now our Christian morality must have a Christocentric character with an expression of love and freedom. It must educate each individual to a sense of personal and communal responsibility. Consequently, it is imperative to have a profound revision of our disciplines – which the good old days, accepted by our simple , pious grandfathers, are no longer so today. Let us mention for example the treatment given in our catechisms to the Commandments of the Church. According to our catechisms, skipping Sunday Mass once without a reason , or failing to fast once on Friday, is a mortal sin that consequently merits eternal damnation. Is that reasonable ? Nowadays, how many adult Catholics believe it?
This Patriarch’s comments within the context of Vatican II and the evolving Church were published to the whole world and it is estimated that it converted millions of otherwise pious people overnight into semi-practicing Catholics (who by majority eventually fell into dissolution in their faith and questionable state of salvation)
The Traditional Catholic Fathers at Vatican II were reduced to a minority by Papal Order before the start of the 2nd of Sessions of the Council – Coetus International Patrum – Acb Lefebvre, Cardinal Ottaviani , Cardinal Browne, and others protested with an official intervention against changing the teachings of the Catholic Church and their crystal clear teachings on the unchangeable nature of marriage and the Church’s teachings on marriage are also found in direct quotes in the excerpt of Prof De Mattei in the pdf link below ->
The liberal majority then followed by various testimonies involving the exegesis of the prosperity Gospel and protestant concepts of sin, brought it to a ferver and eventually an official dissent from Humane Vitae by the Bishops of Canada and an even larger un-official dissent in the US – whereby Bishops mixed silence with dissent by supporting the wealth of dissident pro-contraception and pro-abortion theologians that then began to multiply like rabbits and corrupt the Catholic education system _________________________________________ PDF on the link ->Vatican II _3rd Session Chapter_ Contraception & Marriage Prof. R. de Mattei

In the Pastoral Constitution on the Church in the Modern World, Gaudium et

them to join forces to achieve unity in knowledge and a consolidated
certainty on the conditions that can favour “the proper regulation of
births” (n. 52).
. In fact, conjugal love is described within a global process that does not
stop at the division between soul and body and is not subjected to mere
sentiment, often transient and precarious, but rather takes charge of the
person’s unity and the total sharing of the spouses who, in their reciprocal
acceptance, offer themselves in a promise of faithful and exclusive love
that flows from a genuine choice of freedom.
The Vatican II Scientists to which Benedict XVI is referring to in this official 2008 Vatican document are Malthusian
Malthusianism – Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malthusianism which originated from the late 1700sAD teachings of the protestant philosopher and pseudo-scientist Reverend Thomas Robert Malthus. His teachings on over population morphed into the false teachings population bomb book circulated at Vatican II and neo-Malthusianism latter became the basis of the philosophies of socialism and it is here the whole thing dovetails and overlaps into the ecumenical sympathies towards Communism that arose at Vatican II

What the Traditional Roman Catholic Church Teaches On Contraception In Sacred Scripture And Tradition
Scripture
Gen 1:28, 9:1,7; 35:11 – from the beginning, the Lord commands us to be fruitful (“fertile”) and multiply. A husband and wife fulfill God’s plan for marriage in the bringing forth of new life, for God is life itself.
Gen. 28:3 – Isaac’s prayer over Jacob shows that fertility and procreation are considered blessings from God.
Gen. 38:8-10 – Onan is killed by God for practicing contraception (in this case, withdrawal) and spilling his semen on the ground.
Gen. 38:11-26 – Judah, like Onan, also rejected God’s command to keep up the family lineage, but he was not killed.
Deut. 25:7-10 – the penalty for refusing to keep up a family lineage is not death, like Onan received. Onan was killed for wasting seed.
Gen. 38:9 – also, the author’s usage of the graphic word “seed,” which is very uncharacteristic for Hebrew writing, further highlights the reason for Onan’s death.
Exodus 23:25-26; Deut. 7:13-14 – God promises blessings which include no miscarriages or barrenness. Children are blessings from God, and married couples must always be open to God’s plan for new life with every act of marital intimacy.
Lev.18:22-23;20:13 – wasting seed with non-generative sexual acts warrants death. Many Protestant churches, which have all strayed from the Catholic Church, reject this fundamental truth (few Protestants and Catholics realize that contraception was condemned by all of Christianity – and other religions – until the Anglican church permitted it in certain cases at the Lambeth conference in 1930. This opened the floodgates of error).
Lev. 21:17,20 – crushed testicles are called a defect and a blemish before God. God reveals that deliberate sterilization and any other methods which prevent conception are intrinsically evil.
Deut. 23:1 – whoever has crushed testicles or is castrated cannot enter the assembly. Contraception is objectively sinful and contrary, not only to God’s Revelation, but the moral and natural law.
Deut. 25:11-12 – there is punishment for potential damage to the testicles, for such damage puts new life at risk. It, of course, follows that vasectomies, which are done with willful consent, are gravely contrary to the natural law.
1 Chron. 25:5 – God exalts His people by blessing them with many children. When married couples contracept, they are declaring “not your will God, but my will be done.”
Psalm 127:3-5 – children are a gift of favor from God and blessed is a full quiver. Married couples must always be open to God’s precious gift of life. Contraception, which shows a disregard for human life, has lead to the great evils of abortion, euthanasia, and infanticide.
Hosea 9:11; Jer. 18:21 – God punishes Israel by preventing pregnancy. Contraception is a curse, and married couples who use contraception are putting themselves under the same curse.
Mal. 2:14 – marriage is not a contract (which is a mere exchange of property or services). It is a covenant, which means a supernatural exchange of persons. Just as God is three in one, so are a husband and wife, who become one flesh and bring forth new life, three in one. Marital love is a reflection of the Blessed Trinity.
Mal. 2:15 – What does God desire? Godly offspring. What is contraception? A deliberate act against God’s will. With contraception, a couple declares, “God may want an eternal being created with our union, but we say no.” Contraception is a grave act of selfishness.
Matt. 19:5-6 – Jesus said a husband and wife shall become one. They are no longer two, but one, just as God is three persons, yet one. The expression of authentic marital love reintegrates our bodies and souls to God, and restores us to our original virginal state (perfect integration of body and soul) before God.
Matt. 19:6; Eph. 5:31 – contraception prevents God’s ability to “join” together. Just as Christ’s love for the Church is selfless and sacrificial, and a husband and wife reflect this union, so a husband and wife’s love for each other must also be selfless and sacrificial. This means being open to new life.
Acts 5:1-11 – Ananias and Sapphira were slain because they withheld part of a gift. Fertility is a gift from God and cannot be withheld.
Rom.1:26-27 – sexual acts without the possibility of procreation is sinful. Self-giving love is life-giving love, or the love is a lie. The unitive and procreative elements of marital love can never be divided, or the marital love is also divided, and God is left out of the marriage.
1 Cor. 6:19-20 – the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit; thus, we must glorify God in our bodies by being open to His will.
1 Cor. 7:5 – this verse supports the practice of natural family planning (“NFP”). Married couples should not refuse each other except perhaps by agreement for a season, naturally.
Gal. 6:7-8 – God is not mocked for what a man sows. If to the flesh, corruption. If to the Spirit, eternal life.
Eph. 5:25 – Paul instructs husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the Church, by giving his entire body to her and holding nothing back. With contraception, husbands tell their wives, I love you except your fertility, and you can have me except for my fertility. This love is a lie because it is self-centered, and not self-giving and life-giving.
Eph. 5:29-31; Phil. 3:2 – mutilating the flesh (e.g., surgery to prevent conception) is gravely sinful. Many Protestant churches reject this most basic moral truth.
1 Tim. 2:15 – childbearing is considered a “work” through which women may be saved by God’s grace.
Deut. 22:13-21 – these verses also show that God condemns pre-marital intercourse. The living expression of God’s creative love is reserved for a sacramental marriage between one man and one woman.
Rev. 9:21; 21:8; 22:15; Gal. 5:20 – these verses mention the word “sorcery.” The Greek word is “pharmakeia” which includes abortifacient potions such as birth control pills. These pharmakeia are mortally sinful. Moreover, chemical contraception does not necessarily prevent conception, but may actually kill the child in the womb after conception has occurred (by preventing the baby from attaching to the uterine wall). Contraception is a lie that has deceived millions, but the Church is holding her arms open wide to welcome back her children who have strayed from the truth.
Tradition / Church Fathers
“Moreover, he [Moses] has rightly detested the weasel [Lev. 11:29]. For he means, ‘Thou shall not be like to those whom we hear of as committing wickedness with the mouth with the body through uncleanness [orally consummated sex]; nor shall thou be joined to those impure women who commit iniquity with the mouth with the body through uncleanness’” Letter of Barnabas 10:8 (A.D. 74).
“Because of its divine institution for the propagation of man, the seed is not to be vainly ejaculated, nor is it to be damaged, nor is it to be wasted” Clement of Alexandria, The Instructor of Children 2:10:91:2 (A.D. 191).
“To have coitus other than to procreate children is to do injury to nature.” Clement of Alexandria, The Instructor of Children 2:10:95:3 (A.D. 191).
“[Christian women with male concubines], on account of their prominent ancestry and great property, the so-called faithful want no children from slaves or lowborn commoners, [so] they use drugs of sterility or bind themselves tightly in order to expel a fetus which has already been engendered.” Hippolytus, Refutation of All Heresies 9:12 (A.D. 225).
“[Some] complain of the scantiness of their means, and allege that they have not enough for bringing up more children, as though, in truth, their means were in [their] power . . . or God did not daily make the rich poor and the poor rich. Wherefore, if any one on any account of poverty shall be unable to bring up children, it is better to abstain from relations with his wife.” Lactantius, Divine Institutes 6:20 (A.D. 307).
“God gave us eyes not to see and desire pleasure, but to see acts to be performed for the needs of life; so too, the genital [’generating’] part of the body, as the name itself teaches, has been received by us for no other purpose than the generation of offspring.” Lactantius, Divine 6:23:18 (A.D. 307).
“[I]f anyone in sound health has castrated himself, it behooves that such a one, if enrolled among the clergy, should cease [from his ministry], and that from henceforth no such person should be promoted. But, as it is evident that this is said of those who willfully do the thing and presume to castrate themselves, so if any have been made eunuchs by barbarians, or by their masters, and should otherwise be found worthy, such men this canon admits to the clergy.” Council of Nicaea I, Canon 1 (A.D. 325).
“They [certain Egyptian heretics] exercise genital acts, yet prevent the conceiving of children. Not in order to produce offspring, but to satisfy lust, are they eager for corruption.” Epiphanius of Salamis, Medicine Chest Against Heresies 26:5:2 (A.D. 375).
“This proves that you [Manicheans] approve of having a wife, not for the procreation of children, but for the gratification of passion. In marriage, as the marriage law declares, the man and woman come together for the procreation of children. Therefore, whoever makes the procreation of children a greater sin than copulation, forbids marriage and makes the woman not a wife but a mistress, who for some gifts presented to her is joined to the man to gratify his passion.” Augustine, The Morals of the Manichees 18:65 (A.D. 388).
“Why do you sow where the field is eager to destroy the fruit, where there are medicines of sterility [oral contraceptives], where there is murder before birth? You do not even let a harlot remain only a harlot, but you make her a murderess as well…Indeed, it is something worse than murder, and I do not know what to call it; for she does not kill what is formed but prevents its formation. What then? Do you condemn the gift of God and fight with his [natural] laws?…Yet such turpitude…the matter still seems indifferent to many men—even to many men having wives. In this indifference of the married men there is greater evil filth; for then poisons are prepared, not against the womb of a prostitute, but against your injured wife. Against her are these innumerable tricks.” John Chrysostom, Homilies on Romans 24 (A.D. 391).
“[I]n truth, all men know that they who are under the power of this disease [the sin of covetousness] are wearied even of their father’s old age [wishing him to die so they can inherit]; and that which is sweet, and universally desirable, the having of children, they esteem grievous and unwelcome. Many at least with this view have even paid money to be childless, and have mutilated nature, not only killing the newborn, but even acting to prevent their beginning to live.” John Chrysostom, Homilies on Matthew 28:5 (A.D. 391).
“[T]he man who has mutilated himself, in fact, is subject even to a curse, as Paul says, ‘I would that they who trouble you would cut the whole thing off’ [Gal. 5:12]. And very reasonably, for such a person is venturing on the deeds of murderers, and giving occasion to them that slander God’s creation, and opens the mouths of the Manicheans, and is guilty of the same unlawful acts as they that mutilate themselves among the Greeks. For to cut off our members has been from the beginning a work of demonical agency, and satanic device, that they may bring up a bad report upon the works of God, that they may mar this living creature, that imputing all not to the choice, but to the nature of our members, the more part of them may sin in security as being irresponsible, and doubly harm this living creature, both by mutilating the members and by impeding the forwardness of the free choice in behalf of good deeds.” John Chrysostom, Homilies on Matthew 62:3 (A.D. 391).
“But I wonder why he [the heretic Jovinianus] set Judah and Tamar before us for an example, unless perchance even harlots give him pleasure; or Onan, who was slain because he grudged his brother seed. Does he imagine that we approve of any sexual intercourse except for the procreation of children?” Jerome, Against Jovinian 1:19 (A.D. 393).
“Observe how bitterly he [Paul] speaks against their deceivers…‘I would that they which trouble you would cut the whole thing off’ [Gal. 5:12]…On this account he curses them, and his meaning is as follows: ‘For them I have no concern, “A man that is heretical after the first and second admonition refuse” [Titus 3:10]. If they will, let them not only be circumcised but mutilated.’ Where then are those who dare to mutilate themselves, seeing that they draw down the apostolic curse, and accuse the workmanship of God, and take part with the Manichees?” John Chrysostom, Commentary on Galatians 5:12 (A.D. 395).
“You may see a number of women who are widows before they are wives. Others, indeed, will drink sterility and murder a man not yet born, [and some commit abortion].” Jerome, Letters 22:13 (A.D. 396).
“You [Manicheans] make your auditors adulterers of their wives when they take care lest the women with whom they copulate conceive. They take wives according to the laws of matrimony by tablets announcing that the marriage is contracted to procreate children; and then, fearing because of your law [against childbearing]…they copulate in a shameful union only to satisfy lust for their wives. They are unwilling to have children, on whose account alone marriages are made. How is it, then, that you are not those prohibiting marriage, as the apostle predicted of you so long ago [1 Tim. 4:1–4], when you try to take from marriage what marriage is? When this is taken away, husbands are shameful lovers, wives are harlots, bridal chambers are brothels, fathers-in-law are pimps.” Augustine, Against Faustus 15:7 (A.D. 400).
“For thus the eternal law, that is, the will of God creator of all creatures, taking counsel for the conservation of natural order, not to serve lust, but to see to the preservation of the race, permits the delight of mortal flesh to be released from the control of reason in copulation only to propagate progeny.” Augustine, Against Faustus 22:30 (A.D. 400).
“For necessary sexual intercourse for begetting [children] is alone worthy of marriage. But that which goes beyond this necessity no longer follows reason but lust. And yet it pertains to the character of marriage…to yield it to the partner lest by fornication the other sin damnably [through adultery]…[T]hey [must] not turn away from them the mercy of God…by changing the natural use into that which is against nature, which is more damnable when it is done in the case of husband or wife. For, whereas that natural use, when it pass beyond the compact of marriage, that is, beyond the necessity of begetting [children], is pardonable in the case of a wife, damnable in the case of a harlot; that which is against nature is execrable when done in the case of a harlot, but more execrable in the case of a wife. Of so great power is the ordinance of the Creator, and the order of creation, that . . . when the man shall wish to use a body part of the wife not allowed for this purpose [orally or anally consummated sex], the wife is more shameful, if she suffer it to take place in her own case, than if in the case of another woman.” Augustine, The Good of Marriage 11–12 (A.D. 401).
“I am supposing, then, although you are not lying [with your wife] for the sake of procreating offspring, you are not for the sake of lust obstructing their procreation by an evil prayer or an evil deed. Those who do this, although they are called husband and wife, are not; nor do they retain any reality of marriage, but with a respectable name cover a shame. Sometimes this lustful cruelty, or cruel lust, comes to this, that they even procure poisons of sterility…Assuredly if both husband and wife are like this, they are not married, and if they were like this from the beginning they come together not joined in matrimony but in seduction. If both are not like this, I dare to say that either the wife is in a fashion the harlot of her husband or he is an adulterer with his own wife.” Augustine, Marriage and Concupiscence 1:15:17 (A.D. 419).
“Who is he who cannot warn that no woman may take a potion so that she is unable to conceive or condemns in herself the nature which God willed to be fecund? As often as she could have conceived or given birth, of that many homicides she will be held guilty, and, unless she undergoes suitable penance, she will be damned by eternal death in hell. If a woman does not wish to have children, let her enter into a religious agreement with her husband; for chastity is the sole sterility of a Christian woman.” Caesarius of Arles, Sermons 1:12 (A.D. 522).
So as it turns out both Cardinals Dolan and Tobin both admitted that there have been private pay-offs to adult abuse victims in every Diocese Theodore McCarick served as a Bishop – When both Cardinals were asked why this was not reported to officials or the press their answer was that ‘it is not required for private settlements’ So much for the open and transparent new Church. Supposedly the well on this latest scandal is going to go deep and uncover the roots of modernism and homosexuality in the Church.

“Sad is the fate of those who do not approach the Sacraments because they persist in a life of sin. Worse is the destiny of those who approach the Sacraments sacrilegiously, not being in a state of grace. Even graver is the sin of those who encourage the faithful to receive Communion in a state of sin and administer illicitly the Eucharist to them.
These are the outrages that wound and pierce most deeply the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. These are the sins that demand our reparation, our presence in front of the Tabernacle and our public defense of the Eucharist against all kinds of desecrators.”

“But that’s good, right? It’s modern! It’s caring about the things that really matter to the disaffected youth who find the Church old-fashioned and irrelevant. Who cares about things like immorality when what’s really important is… wait for it… gun control!”
So said Pope Francis on Palm Sunday when he urged young people not to be silent. Get out there in the streets, he said. Let your voices be heard. The world needs to hear you, especially when elders (like me, he did not say!) are corrupt or silent.

Progressive Inhumanity, Part One: The State against the Family – On Crisis Magazine
Leo XIII – This is the doctrine of subsidiarity at its core. The Pope does not justify the family on utilitarian grounds. He does not affirm (what is true in any case) that there are many things the family can do that the State cannot do as well, or cannot do at all. Instead he founds the rights of the family in nature, and the God of nature. It is a society both human and divine. It is within those bonds of love or duty that children and parents both put faces upon law that would otherwise remain abstract, distant, sometimes threatening, sometimes impotent, but always extrinsic, and therefore not quite real. It is there, and only there, that law and love may be found growing together. It combines the best of monarchy and aristocracy and democracy and even at times a merry anarchy, and, if it does not transgress against its own natural purposes, the family “has at least equal rights with the State in the choice and pursuit of the things needful to its preservation and its just liberty.”
VIDEO: Bishop Athanasius Schneider – Talk On The Crisis In The Church And What Should Be The Response Of The Church Militant – Voice of the Family
Bishop Athanasius Schneider delivered the following address at the church of St Mary Moorfields, London, on 24 May 2018, following the celebration of Pontifical High Mass. The event was jointly organised by Voice of the Family and the Latin Mass Society of England and Wales.
This Vigil of the Sacred Heart brings us to a second refutation of Divine Mercy teachings in our continuing study of the infallible teachings of Roman Catholicism
We start off by mentioning that the new Rite Breviary (1975) has retained First Vespers of the Sacred Heart this evening since it is a 1st class Solemnity on Friday and the divine office is a very nice office
For Friday’s Sacred Heart Solemnity there will be sung Masses at HI, the Pontifical Shrine OLMC NY, and low Masses for the Solemnity at The Officer’s Club Chapel on Lexington, St Agnes NY, St Anthony Padua West Orange and St Anthony of Padua N.Caldwell . This feast at the end of our Easter /Pentecost cycle is the sum total of Catholic teaching on the Incarnation/hypostasis and the relationship between the perfect human in the Mother of all Mothers and our Savior and is strategically placed after and in close proximity to the Feast and the Octaves of Corpus Christi for good reason
Footnote ____Posted online are beautiful photographs of Corpus Christi Thursday from the Diocesan Parish of Saint Pius X from Fairfield Conn as they began their Latin Mass program with the first Traditional Rite Mass since the Council with over 300 attendees and a procession. If you are a blog commenter you can welcome home their reversion to Tradition online You Report: First TLM since Vatican II in Connecticut church – On Rorate https://rorate-caeli.blogspot.com/2018/06/you-report-first-tlm-since-vatican-ii.html#more
Also we were reminded following the Octave Mass of Corpus Christi yesterday at Holy Innocents & Shrine of the Unborn during the beautiful 3rd outdoor Procession and Octave last night that yesterday was the 3rd day of the nine day Novena to Saint Anthony of Padua making today the 4th day of the Novena.
Traditionally for any important Saint’s Feast the Novena ends the day before the Feast and the opening of the Feast itself or prior to Mass is reserved for the Sacrament of Penance in order to receive the Plenary Indulgence on the day of. Increasingly in Novus Ordo parishes the novena ends of the day of the Feast – the opening suspends Sacrament of Penance – in many there are no Confessionals anymore and the local Priest recommends – to confess your venial sins directly to God – invalidating the ability to receive a Plenary Indulgence,
The Plenary Indulgence can be gotten even if joining the Novena late in the 9 days if through no blatant omission on the part of the penitent (through no fault of one’s own) Another way to gain the same full Indulgence is to attend Mass at Parish whose titular Feast of the same name (St Anthony of Padua )
Today’s Catholic religion is attempting to be changed in many ways by our hierarchy The slow abolishment of the Sacrament of Penance, the involvement of the laity in the distribution of Holy Communion , the Chalice distribution of the Blood of Christ as separate from the Body of Christ which was thrice formally condemned by Roman Catholicism as false ecumenism with Calvinsim, the Mass as sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving rather than what Catholicism teaches which is a Holy Sacrifice of Calvary in a propitiation and substitutionary oblation for sin.
It’s all based on an illegal overthrow to what the Catholic Church holds to be true on justification vs. sin and grace . It’s false ecumenism with Episcopalianism, and evangelical Lutheranism and promotion of intercommunion without conversion wherever possible It necessitates the absolute requirement to abolish requiem Masses for the dead, purgatory, veneration of relics, and indulgences and most of all the central roll of the Queen of Heaven in the relationship between humanity and divinity in the economy of Salvation The new religion also puts sin at the level of personal interpretation & discernment in removing the central roll of the Church as the Body of Christ – en persona Christi – of the Priest – who mediates all things between humanity and the Body of Christ
The majority of which is contained within Saint Faustina’s teachings on Divine Mercy which is a protestant Trojan horse that has been wheeled into the Churches as the mascot of the Council – It’s so attractive and so new and different to Catholics for one reason Because it’s not Catholic It’s a challenge to the core of Roman Catholic teaching on Justification, temporal punishment , and the economy of intercession to remediate temporal punishment , through veneration, pilgrimages, relics, specified prayers on certain days, and indulgences. Saint Faustina prophesized that this theology would bring about an ecumenical intercommunion with other religions in each region, (minus of course repentance , conversion, and continued reparation – parenthesis mine )

Why we need divine mercy in the new religion ?
Jeffrey Tranzillo – tells us in this Crisis Journal article quoting Pope Francis encyclical
Since divine grace has sometimes proven insufficient to help us meet our present-day challenges, God has finally realized that he must accommodate his moral expectations to our “weakness”; therefore, he might now tell us, in conscience, that we are not bound to obey his commandments amid the “concrete complexity of [our] limits” (AL, 303). T
This is essentially where the Divine Mercy theology takes us, as to where that miracle evangelical Lutheran day of Divine Mercy Sunday becomes not just this rare exception of a vehicle to introduce this new theology into Catholicism but to become the new-Catholicism norm

How Amoris Laetitia Can Jeopardize the Seal of Confession – Crisis Magazine
Many faithful Catholics , some of whom are counted amongst are family’s best friends and colleagues do like the image and pray the Divine Mercy devotions sincerely and or have witnessed conversion stories . This thread is not, in any way, intended to be a criticism of them or any miracles attributed to the work of our Lord with individuals
In terms of post Vatican –II neo-Catholic theology
“It is perhaps not accidental that Pope John Paul II promoted this devotion, for it is very much in line with his encyclical Dives in Misericordia. In fact, the Paschal Mystery theology that he taught pushed aside all consideration of the gravity of sin and the need for penance, for satisfaction to divine justice, and hence of the Mass as being an expiatory sacrifice, and likewise the need to gain indulgences and to do works of penance.”
And there you have it

Key comparison of the Sacred Heart theology and devotion – Divine Mercy is a second baptism the theology maintains and the Sacrament of Penance removes not only all eternal punishment but all temporal punishments – which even eliminates future Sacramental confessions of venial sin to remediate temporal sin-
Not covered in detail here but of significant overlap with neo-catechumen and charismatic theology there is also the negative impact of pilgrimages , shrines , and the veneration of relics against the economy of temporal punishment that we were always working down prior to the new Catholic religion
Against The Contrasting Heretical Statements In The Pope’s Encyclical
“Unity of teaching and practice is certainly necessary in the Church, but this does not preclude various ways of interpreting some aspects of that teaching or drawing certain consequences from it. This will always be the case as the Spirit guides us towards the entire truth (cf. Jn 16:13), until he leads us fully into the mystery of Christ and enables us to see all things as he does. Each country or region, moreover, can seek solutions better suited to its culture and sensitive to its traditions and local needs.”

Brother Alois further explains Brother Roger’s novel approach: “To speak in terms of `conversion’ is not to understand the originality of what Brother Roger was seeking. The word `conversion’ is weighed down with history; `conversion’ implies a break with your origins. Brother Roger accepted that for some an individual conversion might be a way, but for himself and for our community he preferred to speak of communion.

Thank you, Msgr. Perez and TIA, for the Divine Mercy Devotion warning. For a long time I have had reservations about, especially since, like you, Monsignor, I felt an immediate repulsion toward the picture.
Also, at my Church (before I left the Novus Ordo) , it was the charismatic “Catholics” that immediately took it up and began to push it. I list below some other strange things – in addition to the ones you mentioned – in the Divine Mercy in my Soul Diary by Sister Faustina Kowalski, which is why I have avoided it.
“When the priest approached me again, I raised the host for him to put back into the chalice, because when I had first received Jesus I could not speak before consuming the host, and so could not tell Him that the other host had fallen. But while I was holding the host in my hand, I felt such a power of love that for the rest of the day I could neither eat nor come to my senses. I heard these words from the host: I desired to rest in your hands, not only in your heart.” (p. 89)
Jesus tells her “You are a sweet grape and a chosen cluster; I want others to have a share in the juice that is flowing within you.” (p. 176)
He also tells her “For your sake I will withhold the hand which punishes; for your sake I will bless the Earth.” (p. 191)
And this: “And know this, too, My daughter: All creatures, whether they know it or not, and whether they want to or not, always fulfill My will … My daughter, if you wish, I will this instant create a new world, more beautiful than this one, and you will live there for the rest of your life.” (p. 247)
Jesus says: “For many souls will turn back from the gates of Hell and worship My mercy.” (page 260)
He also says: “If they will not adore My mercy, they will perish for all eternity” (page 347) and, on the same lines, “I desire that My mercy be worshipped.” (page 382)
On the presumption of Sister Faustina in announcing her holiness, there is also this:
Christ supposedly told her: “Tell the Superior General to count on you as the most faithful daughter in the Order.”(p. 417)
Faustina writes: “When I took the Messenger of the Sacred Heart into my hand and read the account of the canonization of St. Andrew Bobola, my soul was instantly filled with a great longing that our congregation, too, might have a saint and I wept like a child that there was no saint in our midst. And I said to the Lord, ‘I know your generosity, and yet it seems to me that you are less generous towards us.’ And I began again to weep like a little child. And the Lord Jesus said to me, ‘Don’t cry. You are that saint.’”(p. 583)
After receiving Communion, Sr. Faustina said, “Jesus transform me into another host!… You are a great and all-powerful Lord; you can grant me this favor. And the Lord answered me, ‘You are a living host.’” (p. 643)
We can also see why John Paul II wanted to promote this devotion because Jesus supposedly told Sr. Faustina this: “I bear a special love for Poland, and if she will be obedient to My will, I will exalt her in might and holiness. From her will come forth the spark that will prepare the world for My final coming.”(p. 612) This has been interpreted to mean that God’s chosen person was John Paul II, the Polish Pope. In fact, he is often called the Divine Mercy Pope.
Finally, I would like to point out that I know priests who have told their faithful to pray the Divine Mercy chaplet to replace the Rosary because there are so many more graces to be received from it, and it is more beneficial for these times. This seems to me a distraction from the message of Fatima, where Our Lady told us to pray the Rosary daily. She repeated this instruction with urgency at each apparition.
In our family, we continue to do as Our Lady requested, to pray the Rosary and make reparation for our sins and the increasing blasphemies against her Immaculate Heart. This is the safe and sure path.
Daily Consecration Prayer To The Sacred Heart Of Jesus
O Sacred Heart of Jesus filled with Infinite Love , broken by our ingratitude and pierced by our sins, yet loving us still, accept the consecration we make to You of all that we are and we have.
Take every faculty of our souls and bodies, only day by day draw us nearer and nearer to Your Sacred Heart, and there as we shall bear the lesson, teach us Your Holy Way. Amen
