While many insightfully point to the era between Pius IX , Pius X, and Pius XI as the beginning of the era of the fight against  modernism within the Church and the modernism of the post conciliar era in the ‘supposed spirit of Vatican II as its resurgence, that is not necessarily a complete objective scenario

Firstly, it never completely subsided following the era of the Popes of the Pius titles and secondly it was not the spirit of the Council post-haste but clearly came out of a school of thought and into a political party at the Council – It was in the counter preparatory works of the Council – all the debates at the Council and with the Council documents itself, that any student of the Council will clearly see in volumes of empirical evidence.

The  false paradigm of ecumenism is something that was invented at Vatican II – even the invention Secretariat For Non-Christian religions was a ground breaking challenge to Roman Catholic doctrine

In order to declare this new catholic dogma of ecumenism, they first needed to suppress the Catholic philosophy of Thomas Aquinas and Aristotle, including natural law, and to especially to overturn the natural principals of non-contradiction. The ground work became the elevation of the ‘human’ in human dignity and the elevation of the rights of religious liberty (of any religion) In order to accomplish this new declaration a new philosophy need be introduced which was quickly revealed as the ‘reason’ or need for a Council if they were somehow to upstage an infallible Catholic teaching that the Rights of God including the Rights of God in his one true Church , the mystical body of Christ, would be in need of more than suppression but redefinition. Hence the center of the council became the encyclicals on religious liberty and the elevation of the dignity of the human person.

We are now seeing the bad fruits of the anti- Catholic neo-Catholic  non-binding Catholic social teaching of ecumenism with ALL religions , the formal heresy of ‘syncretism’ that Freemasonry sought all  along especially in its liaison emissaries to the Council.

At the Council there was a conservative group Coetus Internationalis to which many interventions were made by the likes of Archbishops Ruffini, Lefebvre, Cardinal Ottovani and many others. Among them, one such intervention was to protest the book being heavily circulated at the Council by the liaison to freemasonry Baron de Masuadon on the new ‘human fraternity’ required by all religions The book , popular among high level Catholic prelates, was “Ecumenism As Seen By A Traditional Freemason”  What followed from a lower level Father Giovani Capril attempted to form another reproachment of freemasonry as well,with the re-listing of the 200+ official Catholic Church works and statements against freemasonry as antithetical to all of Christianity and its philosophies , including that of ecumenism as an ‘enemy “ of Catholicism – see R. de Mattei – Vatican II- The untold Story 3rd session of the council.

False religions from the time of the Council on would then proliferate like no other era in salvation history. Islam would see its greatest increase and spread in its own history as it was officially no longer resisted by Catholicism but suddenly and strangely recognized as one of the worlds great religions , contrary to everything that Roman Catholicism had ever previously said or declared about islamic mohammedanism. Similar treatises were begun on the eastern mystery religions including buddhism in that there were suddenly some general good and truth within these religions without ever specifically stating what that good might be aside from their mutual denial of the divinity of Christ in the heresy of Arianism that in one era almost destroyed the Church in the 4th century

So now it becomes the era of the mission of the lay Catholics to carry the torch and stand in the gap for the survivability of the remnant of sacred tradition , family, and property – God’s covenantal people are being called upon into action – There is no one else behind us – Many do not realize that it is now us or no one

We were not promised the Church would last until the end of time “in it’s present size and form” only that there would be a Church (most likely underground as in the early Church while all else in orthodoxy is persecuted )

It’s logical conclusion is simply if their are truths within non Christian religions that no longer calls us to help convert these peoples then Christians that are not Catholic must somehow believe the same things we believe. All we need to do in suppress every doctrinal and dogmatic difference between these Christian religions , declare the philosophy of non-contradiction and anyone who espouses it and or traditional Catholicism as an unmerciful peoples in need of sanctions and suppression for their own good.

Therefore we have Cardinals and Bishops declaring that  if this is truly the new teachings of the Church and we follow the Vatican declared non-binding non-doctrinal pastoral teachings and documents of the Council we cannot deny intercommunion to adulterers and protestants. The dignity of the person, the rights of the human person and his own discernment in his or her own personal interpretation must be higher than the law. This is what the council taught in several dozen places and the post conciliar prelates pounded into the religious and the laity in the era that followed the Council.

Possibly everyone is being too critical of Pope Francis and perhaps he and the other progressive modernists that are now  in the majority of the leadership of the Church are merely bringing into the open air and attempting to implement what was only previously suggested and implied by the new religious teaching of the Council & its official encyclicals.  The Pope’s defense, that we’ve yet to hear raised, is.. ‘but its right here in the Council documents.’

Pope John Paul II declared Saint of the Church tried to find an invisible middle road between the Council and Catholic tradition – as illustrated in his creation and issuance of Ecclesia Dei (1988) – Pope Benedict XVI upon reaching the See of Peter became much more traditional and ignored much of the previous teachings of the Council. Pope Francis has said, on multiple occasions in truth, that the Council has not been (as of yet ) fully implemented.

It is also most clearly present in the Council’s imposed overthrow of the aristocratic ecclesial structure of the Church and it’s re-org to a democratic government model open to interpretation by regional vote, in a continuing decades long re-organization. The more we read and study the more we come to understand, it’s not Pope Francis it’s the modernism of the previous era that began to metastasize at the Council and only now is becoming incarnate with and within Pope Francis. Is he merely only following to the letter the dictates of the Council Fathers that laid down the new religion of syncretism, masonic philosophy, and progressive modernism. Perhaps our Pope is not deviant at all but very loyal….to the Council.

The Father’s gift in Christ

Our Lord commanded us to baptize in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. In baptism, then, we profess faith in the Creator, in the only-begotten Son and in the gift which is the Spirit. There is one Creator of all things, for in God there is one Father from whom all things have their being. And there is one only-begotten Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom all things exist. And there is one Spirit, the gift who is in all. So all follow their due order, according to the proper operation of each: one power, which brings all things into being, one Son, through whom all things come to be, and one gift of perfect hope. Nothing is wanting to this flawless union: in Father, Son and Holy Spirit, there is infinity of endless being, perfect reflection of the divine image, and mutual enjoyment of the gift.

Our Lord has described the purpose of the Spirit’s presence in us. Let us listen to his words: I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. It is to your advantage that I go away; if I go, I will send you the Advocate. And also: I will ask the Father and he will give you another Counselor to be with you for ever, the Spirit of truth. From among many of our Lord’s sayings, these have been chosen to guide our understanding, for they reveal to us the intention of the giver, the nature of the gift and the condition for its reception. Since our weak minds cannot comprehend the Father or the Son, we have been given the Holy Spirit as our intermediary and advocate, to shed light on that hard doctrine of our faith, the incarnation of God.

We receive the Spirit of truth so that we can know the things of God. In order to grasp this, consider how useless the faculties of the human body would become if they were denied their exercise. Our eyes cannot fulfill their task without light, either natural or artificial; our ears cannot react without sound vibrations, and in the absence of any odor our nostrils are ignorant of their function. Not that these senses would lose their own nature if they were not used; rather, they demand objects of experience in order to function. It is the same with the human soul. Unless it absorbs the gift of the Spirit through faith, the mind has the ability to know God but lacks the light necessary for that knowledge.

This unique gift which is in Christ is offered in its fullness to everyone. It is everywhere available, but it is given to each man in proportion to his readiness to receive it. Its presence is the fuller, the greater a man’s desire to be worthy of it. This gift will remain with us until the end of the world, and will be our comfort in the time of waiting. By the favors it bestows, it is the pledge of our hope for the future, the light of our minds, and the splendor that irradiates our understanding.
