Divine Mercy (DM) and what the actual heterodoxies are

We finally figured it out for ourselves and not just based on the theology taught exclusively from traditionalist Catholic web sites but from my own studies of Sacred.Scripture it’s interpretation / Catholic Sacred Tradition vs. the teachings of DM.

It was no random coincidence that the  1st Saturday’s devotions at Catholic Underground -OLGC Ny  1st Vespers of DM Sunday and today’s Mass readings both old and new Rite also served to confirm our findings.

We have nothing against Catholics that follow this devotion. We see the value in the sung Chaplet at wakes -mourning,  bedside of the dying etc…but the theology of it and it’s refocus to progressivist Catholicism by the modernists is clearly at work here

In reality this is ‘Quasimodo’ Low Sunday which is pro life (new borns left of the steps of the Church ) Sunday & always was , as we see from the age old opening and thread of this Mass. Secondly and more profoundly this Sunday’s second aspect or main charism is against Arianism and against religions that are for a Unitarian God and against Trinitarian Christianity

The prayers and that natural catechesis is the focus of this Octave of Easter even in the new Rite !

When the Friar last night at the Underground’s OLGC   doing sung reflections from an acoustic guitar – went on about complete and immediate forgiveness in God’s Mercy within this Divine Mercy

It was then that I saw and heard it more clearly – It’s false ecumenism with the theology of Martin Luther and Lutheranism

There is no reparation – People in sin are told to enter into this devotion – from the most numerous and extravagant mortal sins and be completely cleared of all sins immediately and permanently And therefore it abolishes – what Lutheranism has been trying to do for 500 years to Catholicism – It abolishes temporal punishment as well as the economy of indulgences against the varying degrees of remaining temporal punishment and or the use of relics and pilgrimages in “reparation theology ” It also abolishes and or violently suppresses that aspect of the that economy of salvation from time eternal.

It also has a false ecumenical relationship with Pentecostalism attempting to create a Catholic version of an Altar call which I won’t go into at length here except to say that divine mercy advocates have been visibly at work for years attempting to reform aspects of DM in separating it from the Nestorian heresy elements resident within Charismatic theology . Obviously enough material there for its own thread.

I then compared not just the readings from the traditional Rite from this day’s propers and from its divine office’s but also from what the Feast day readings of the Office that are in the Novus Ordo from straight out of the Council and finalized in 1975 and they are opposite from what is taught for this Sunday in Divine Mercy as well

Divine Mercy never discusses God’s justice within the context of God’s law Yet in all Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition – God’s law is ALWAYS in the same sentence as God’s Mercy and God’s justice is always within the same paragraph – Go through the bible yourself and look at every place God’s Mercy is mentioned !

You still have to pay for the broken window even though you are forgiven for breaking it – is the cliff notes summary to Catholic reparation and temporal punishment – Not so says the Seer Sister Faustina in multiple entries of her Diary describing the novelties in her new theology “God’s Mercy she writes would never eternally punish a soul ”

Here are the readings for the Divine Office for it DIRECTLY FROM THE NEW RITE which says the opposite of the DM teachings

From 1 Peter 2nd half of the 4th chapter and the first part of the 5th chapter

“”Do not be surprised, beloved, that a trial by fire is occurring in your midst. It is a test for you, but it should not catch you off guard. Rejoice instead, in the measure that you share Christ’s sufferings. When his glory is revealed, you will rejoice exultantly. Happy are you when you are insulted for the sake of Christ, for then God’s Spirit in its glory has come to rest on you.”

The season of judgment has begun, and begun with God’s own household. If it begins this way with us, what must be the end for those who refuse obedience to the gospel of God?

Let those who suffer as God’s will requires continue in good deeds

Stay sober and alert. Your opponent the devil is prowling like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, solid in your faith, realizing that the brotherhood of believers is undergoing the same sufferings throughout the world.

The church that is in Babylon, chosen together with you, sends you greeting, as does Mark my son. Greet one another with the embrace of true love.””

And in the same Office

Psalm 114 Tremble, O earth, before the Lord, in the presence of the God of Jacob

Then Sunday’s Mass Scripture readings from Saint John is about the Trinity and the Gospel …how Ditumus (Saint Thomas) touches the five wounds and proclaims Jesus to be ” my Lord and my God” The focus rightly becomes the Divine MAJESTY of Jesus and Saint Thomas then becomes an Archbishop goes to India – develops the Malabar Rite , spreads the devotion to the Five Wounds to the whole Indian continent and it becomes , there too , a natural adversary of Ariianism and the denial of hell

This post new Rite revision puts this Sunday outside of Easter and the Easter Octave  ! and makes it the second Sunday AFTER Easter which it is not ! Next week is the 2nd Sunday after Easter as codified in other Rites of the Church besides the Roman Rite  , but not in the revised new Rite Don’t forget the new rite has been revised four times and is in its fourth version of its Ordo !

We visited very good family friends Sunday that had the whole Stockbridge thing on TV and I see how they are trying hard in their attempted reform of the reform of the new rite to have Latin chanted in more parts of the Ordinary of the Canon -restore incense  & incense prayers to the three principal portions of the Mass etc…

But it’s still sooo anthropocentric The repetitive focus of a lay woman  in a cashmere coat at a microphone talking & singing is where the focus repeatedly returns to The audience’s attention is split between her – the table altar – multiple Priests facing them and a choir in a box beside the Altar very similar to a performance. This all then concludes with people receiving Holy Communion in the hand while standing while on -line ! not waiting on your knees with eyes closed for the heart and flesh of God to come to you

While we then see the traditional rites are by contrast (east and west ) excessively Theocentric /Christocentric

I would like to write more extensively on this subject as I have other evidence , citations and footnotes that space and time do not allow Particularly interesting is how the modernists in this continuing progressivist movement have used this devotion to wipe out the philosophy & theology of the Sacred Heart  – In turn the teachings on the Sacred Hearts relationship to the Immaculate Heart as the primary intercessor & Mediatrix of Mercy to the final judge of heaven AND hell which is Christ is suppressed This new DM is a deformation that supplants the relationship between the Sacred Heart and the social reign of Christ the King -Out of the mix are politicians being brought to accountability and political responsibility in an international Christendom community  by and through the Sacred Heart Now it becomes instead an interior devotion and no longer an exterior Sacred Heart with exterior public square consequences where one is required to hold others to Catholicism

People are being tricked by the doctors of theology of the new religion . Highly talented architects of the -neo philosophy post conciliar culture & theology are at work here

No one bothers to research the science and details of why something is being rejected as an inauthentic or otherwise damaging to our religion of antiquity just an “oh you can’t say that “…it would be like saying out loud ‘the emperor has no cloths on’.

Where the teachings of St Faustina do go political is when she explains that Poland is the scripturally referred to country to which God refers which will lead the redemption.

St Faustina has  been quoted by Pope Francis in the context of denying an eternal (forever) punishment in the next life, which is part of the Arianism heresy

The suppression of the Sacred Heart for this replacement image, theology, and devotions impacts the natural defenses against the asphyxiating Arianism we are surrounded by been within factions and schools of thought in our own Church

The Sacred Heart of Jesus teaches in both image & theology in a simple fashion to both children and adults the absolute truth of the two natures of Jesus Christ in one person

Pope Leo the Great does a much better job than I here in order to explain in homeletic type fashion

From a letter by Saint Leo the Great, pope

The mystery of man’s reconciliation with God Lowliness is assured by majesty, weakness by power, mortality by eternity. To pay the debt of our sinful state, a nature that was incapable of suffering was joined to one that could suffer. Thus, in keeping with the healing that we needed, one and the same mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ, was able to die in one nature, and unable to die in the other.

He who is true God was therefore born in the complete and perfect nature of a true man, whole in his own nature, whole in ours. By our nature we mean what the Creator had fashioned in us from the beginning, and took to himself in order to restore it.

For in the Saviour there was no trace of what the deceiver introduced and man, being misled, allowed to enter. It does not follow that because he submitted to sharing in our human weakness he therefore shared in our sins.

He took the nature of a servant without stain of sin, enlarging our humanity without diminishing his divinity. He emptied himself; though invisible he made himself visible, though Creator and Lord of all things he chose to be one of us mortal men. Yet this was the condescension of compassion, not the loss of omnipotence. So he who in the nature of God had created man, became in the nature of a servant, man himself.

Thus the Son of God enters this lowly world. He comes down from the throne of heaven, yet does not separate himself from the Father’s glory. He is born in a new condition, by a new birth.

He was born in a new condition, for, invisible in his own nature, he became visible in ours. Beyond our grasp, he chose to come within our grasp. Existing before time began, he began to exist at a moment in time. Lord of the universe, he hid his infinite glory and took the nature of a servant. Incapable of suffering as God, he did not refuse to be a man, capable of suffering. Immortal, he chose to be subject to the laws of death.

He who is true God is also true man. There is no falsehood in this unity as long as the lowliness of man and the pre-eminence of God coexist in mutual relationship.

As God does not change by his condescension, so man is not swallowed up by being exalted. Each nature exercises its own activity, in communion with the other. The Word does what is proper to the Word, the flesh fulfils what is proper to the flesh.

One nature is resplendent with miracles, the other falls victim to injuries. As the Word does not lose equality with the Father’s glory, so the flesh does not leave behind the nature of our race.

One and the same person – this must be said over and over again – is truly the Son of God and truly the son of man. He is God in virtue of the fact that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He is man in virtue of the fact that the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.

To be continued ,,,

On the subject of the suppression of the Social Reign of The Kingship of Christ in the public square and it’s relationship to the Sacred Heart vs the new religion

And the documents that substantiate that the teachings of Saint Faustina and Divine Mercy were banned by three consecutive Popes prior to  Saint John Paul II, as well as formally condemned by the Holy See and placed on the Index Librorum Prohibitorum –    the Catholic Church listings on banned books (prior to the Index itself being abolished as a fruit of Vatican II)
