MONDAY, MARCH 9, 2015

Reception of the Body – St. Patrick’s Cathedral Private Family Visitation 10 a 12 p

Cardinal Egan’s body will be received by his family and Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York, at St. Patrick’s Cathedral (located at 5th Avenue and 51 st Street) at the Fifth Avenue entrance which will be followed by a private visitation for the family until noon. Media may cover the reception of the body from outside on 5th Avenue.  They may not enter the St. Patrick’s Cathedral during the private visitation.

Public Visitation – St. Patrick’s Cathedral 12 p – 6 p

Vigil Mass – St. Patrick’s Cathedral at 6pm Visitation continues after Mass until 9pm

TUESDAY, MARCH 10, 2015

Public Visitation – St. Patrick’s Cathedral 7 a – 11a (Public Visitation Ends)

Funeral Mass -with Procession: 1:30 pm -Mass: 2:00 pm

Entombment: Immediately following Mass beneath the Cathedral High Altar.

Cardinal Dolan will offer the Funeral Mass as the main celebrant and will deliver the homily.

 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: The Inner-City Scholarship Fund or The Restoration of St. Patrick’s Cathedral.


This upcoming Friday March 13th at Holy Innocents NY there will be a Prayer Rally With Procession with Our Lady to Herald Square for Peace for the Persecuted Christians in the East to follow Holy Mass at 6:00pm also in the Extraordinary Form  following the closing of the Eucharistic Adoration’s Benediction @ 545pm and Angelus at the 6:00pm bells

This upcoming Sunday March 15th at the Oratory of Saint Anthony of Padua West Orange will be a get together following 11:00am High Solemn Mass to celebrate the 4th Lenten Sunday Laetare Sunday of Rose colored Motherhood – where the Princes of the Church formerly and formally presented a Rose to the Patriarchal Mothers of the families of the Traditional Elites

The party in the Church hall will celebrate both Saint Joseph and Saint Patrick – and will be marked by Professional Traditional Irish dancers and home made pot luck food dishes – (Flyer below in the link)

Saint Patrick’s Day is to be mourned in NYC on Tuesday March 17th with deference to the Intercession of Saint Joseph

Saint Agnes (midtown East side) will open the 03/17 Feast morning at 9:00am with a Holy Mass in Gaelic,  the Traditional language of Ireland

Traditional Irish Breakfast– one menu – one price follows Mass at the Irish tavern around the corner

On Thursday March 19th – Our Lady Queen of Peace in Maywood, NJ will have a Missa Cantata Mass for the Feast of Saint Joseph at 7pm

It will be their 3rd Mass in the Traditional Rite with formal approval having been granted from the fruit of your prayers for a regular monthly TLM
