Immaculate Conception Parish of NYC – Chapel retention announcement and traditional Mass Offering for Saturday January 31st

Although The new lower Chapel of Immaculate Conception is all that will be left of Catholic edifices on the four lane street of East 14th Street, when the Diocese of NY is done with it’s closures  (despite the 600 to 800 worshipers that cumulatively attend the Sunday Masses on a given weekend at this Parish,)  this Parish, and it’s school along with several other lower east side Parishes, Cardinal Dolan says, “will close and be sold”

The interior beauty of the upper Church that will be closing can be found here http://immaculateconception-nyc.org/

The good news is that the Community has built a lower level traditional Chapel and retained it’s Sacrificial Worship

In the way the Martyrs did in the days of the catacombs, the Catholic Underground begins to unite

Please join them for a Traditional Sung Mass at the Chapel this Saturday at 5pm for the Feast of Saint Don Bosco as we pray for them

Conviviality gathering immediately following between 6:00pm and 6:30pm in an adjacent lower level space to 414 East 14th Street Manhattan, NYC
